Bobby is a saxophonist, flautist, composer, big band director and teacher. Born in Philadelphia (1961) to a Cuban family exiled to the United States. In 1996 he moved to Madrid (Spain), where he combined his great pedagogical work with his professional career, recording numerous jazz albums and touring around the world. Throughout his extensive musical career he has shared the stage with figures such as Paquito D'Rivera, Richie Cole, Pat Metheny, Paco de Lucia, Julio Iglesias, Joe Williams, Perico Sambeat, Chris Kase, Pepe Rivero, Miguel Ríos, Ana Belén and many others.

In 2021 he decided to form a new musical project with the collaboration of younger musicians, with whom he has recorded two albums to date, which include compositions by all its members and in which the jazz tradition is enriched with elements of more modern trends.
